Having previously had to suffer the questionable delights of  a weekly shopping trip to my rather pokey local Tesco Metro on Portobello Rd, I was ‘pleasantly suprised’ to see this veritable selection of ham in my local Monoprix. That was before I comprehended the sheer amount of information staring out from the shelves. You want ham? Ok quelle sort? Why not have 25 different choices. Gone on, I dare you to make a decision! To a lesser mortal this could have been daunting, but to me with my trusty camera in my pocket it was just another opportunity to document the amusing differences between my past hometown of 15 years to my new one of 6 months.

I couldn’t tell the difference between them all…..so I left without making a purchase!

Vive le difference as they say…. somewhere foreign.
